✺ Field Notes #01: Start where it feels heavy
Most of the creative, purpose-led people I work with come to me saying some version of:
“My business is a mess and honestly… I don’t even know where to start.”
And honestly? Fair.
You’ve been running your business, showing up for clients, making all the things happen. Wearing all the hats.
It’s not that you’re disorganised (maybe a little). You’ve just outgrown the setup you started with. It’s likely not been priority number one for a long time, if ever.
What used to “work for now” is now a pile of open tabs, scattered tools, endless admin tasks, and building resentment.
So if you’re looking around thinking, “This isn’t sustainable,” you’re probably right.
But please don’t try to fix everything at once.
Start where it feels heavy.
The task you keep putting off because it takes ten steps too many.
The workflow that technically exists… but only in your head.
That’s the entry point. Not what you think you “should” fix first. Just the thing that’s weighing you down.
Because when we build from that place. Clearly, strategically, and in a way that actually makes sense for how you work, things get lighter.
Your calendar opens up. Your jaw unclenches. The systems hum in the background like they’re supposed to. That’s when your business stops just functioning and starts feeling good to run.
Want help getting there?
Start where it’s heavy. I’ll help you sort the rest.
